The Phantom actress is scared of only one thing while shooting for deadly action scenes…
There have been many instances of late, involving actors and actresses injuring themselves on the film sets. Katrina Kaif, who has been a part of many such action films, feels the impending need to employ stringent safety rules on sets. She is of the view that there should be a team of safety directors present on the sets to oversee the stunts.
“I think it is important to have a safety director, because, more often than not, in an action team, there are around six to seven people who are properly trained to handle things. The rest are helpers, who don’t know the safety norms. So, I definitely think we need to have an expert to oversee that,” she tells to a leading daily.
She gives example of B-town’s two popular leading heroes: Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumarwhile talking about this problem. She says, “Akshay (Kumar) is someone who puts his life at risk while doing stunts. In fact, even Hrithik (Roshan) told me that during the shoot of Krrish (2006), one of the cables broke while he was doing a stunt. These are scary things.”So, now we know that the leggy lass is not scared of performing stunts, but is worried about the lack of safety precautions taken on the film sets.
