Le Carillon and Le Petit Cambodge: 14 shot dead at two restaurants
Fourteen people died in a double-attack on a cafe bar and Cambodian restaurant metres apart from each other in Rue Alibert, not far from Place de la République. Witnesses described how a gunman first opened fire on Le Carillon cafe bar before heading across the road to Le Petit Cambodge and turning his gun on diners there.

A young woman who arrived at the scene shortly after the attack broke down when she spoke to reporters. “It was surreal, everyone was on the ground", she said. “A girl was being carried in the arms of a young man. She seemed to be dead."
